Neurology

COVID-19 information

The pandemic has had an impact on our ability to deliver neurology research.

If you are attending a trial visit, the Research team will contact you before the visit to talk you through the changes, safety requirements and answer any questions you may have.

Neurology deals with diseases of the nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, nerves, muscles and their connections.

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) is a regional centre providing treatment for Birmingham, the West Midlands and surrounding areas.

The department has a strong track record of world-class research with close links to the University of Birmingham.

Our research aims to enhance patient treatment from diagnosis through to novel interventions.
