Agenda for Change
Agenda for Change is the name given to the pay and conditions arrangements in place across the whole of the NHS. This affects all staff other than doctors, dentists and the most senior of managers, and has been developed on a partnership basis with all the relevant trade unions and staff organisations.
Its aim is to introduce new pay bands to which posts will be allocated using a job evaluation scheme unique to the NHS. It also aims to provide common terms and conditions of service for all staff groups and a personal and professional development system, known as Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF), which will apply to all staff to whom Agenda for Change applies.
If your job application is successful, your post will be subject to the terms of Agenda for Change. Further details will be provided with your offer letter.
